Nurse a été actif de 2014 à 2018, puis a fait quelques apparitions sporadiques ici et là jusqu'en 2022. Le groupe est désormais de retour et partira en tournée européenne pour la première fois en septembre/octobre prochain. L’occasion de remettre en lumière le hardcore sombre de ce groupe d’Atlanta en compilant leurs 3 sorties éponymes sur cette nouvelle cassette (deux EPs et un 12’’). Nurse délivre un hardcore punk créatif et râpeux, qui met au défi les frontières entre les genres avec une urgence qui tâche et qui marque, glisse des références nébuleuses au deathrock des années 80 avec des éléments décalés inhérents au post-punk. Un total de 24 minutes sur le fil qui implose dans une atmosphère morose. Un des meilleurs exemples de la créativité des groupes d’outre atlantique issue de la deuxième moitié des années 2010 (voir Beta Boys, Acrylics, Nasti, etc).

Time to make their dark hardcore sound shines again through this cassette compiling their 3 self-titled releases (2 EPs + a 12’’). This Atlanta band delivers a creative and gritty hardcore punk that challenges genre boundaries with an urgency that stains and leaves its mark, mixing nebulous references to 80’s deathrock with off-kilter elements inherent to post-punk. A total of 24 minutes on the edge, imploding in a gloomy atmosphere. One of the best exemples of the creativity of the otherside pond’s bands from the second half of the 2010’s (see Beta Boys, Acrylics, Nasti, etc).
